Warm Up Activities

A major challenge facing many historically underrepresented and marginalized students in preparing for college and pursuing advanced study and careers, particularly in STEM, is the lack of available monetary, material and social resource.  Building on Limited Resources demonstrates the importance of having sufficient resources and the value of adapting to differing circumstances. For Salt & Pepper, tell students that they are going to do a silly activity that will get their brains warmed up and help them start communicating with one another!
