Should Rey Mystery Drink Gatorade? Students in this lesson will define vocabulary, read about ingredients, discuss the importance of each ingredient and its effect on the body, and approximate how much of each as they formulate their own drink. Biology Elementary (4-5), Middle School (6-8)
Slip, Sliding Away In this lesson, students learn about glacial flow and slip/sliding away part of the cryosphere. Climate Change Middle School (6-8), High School (9-12)
Solar City In this lesson students will understand how building design can accommodate solar panels, and how building design can be used to take advantage of passive solar energy. Renewable Energy Middle School (6-8), High School (9-12)
Spaghetti Quake In this lesson student learn about earthquake magnitude by breaking different size bundles of uncooked spaghetti noodles to understand differences in magnitude. Geology Elementary (4-5)
