Program Goals

Each school year between 600-700 Oregon students in grades 4-12 participate in SMILE precollege programing. The goal of SMILE after school clubs and other programs is to provide students from rural schools hands-on science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) experiences. The clubs serve minority students, students from low income households, and those who would be the first in their families to go to college. The clubs help these students pursue higher education and STEM-related careers.

Mobile Professional Development
